General Physical Preparedness (GPP)

GPP will help increase the work capacity of the athlete and can be implemented at any time in the athletes yearly program. These exercises are more general in nature and not necessarily specific to the types of activities they would perform in their respective sport. Specific Physical Preparedness (SPP)

SPP is conditioning that is similar to, or replicates, the type of activities the athlete would do in their respective sport. As the season draws nearer the importance of SPP increases. It is always important to know the work-to-rest ratio of the sport that is being trained and these ratios should be replicated as the program is implemented. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
